Coach Steve Dudley brings over 20 years of experience to the court, both as a player and a coach, with a track record that spans the YBL, National League, and even England-level basketball. His deep knowledge of the game is matched only by his passion for mentoring young people—helping them grow not just as athletes, but as confident, resilient individuals. Steve’s leadership is the heartbeat of Solihull Sonics, where his energy, expertise, and commitment to youth development set the tone for everything we do.

Mandy O'Neill
Club Secretary & Director
Mandy O’Neill, our self-proclaimed professional organiser and powerhouse Club Secretary, is the glue that holds Solihull Sonics together. With a fierce passion for supporting young people—especially those vulnerable to gangs, drugs, or county lines—Mandy brings heart, structure, and unstoppable energy to everything she does. Whether she’s coordinating behind the scenes or leading the cheers from the sidelines, her voice is always the loudest, rallying the Sonics to victory and reminding everyone why this club matters.

Having risen through the ranks at both local and national levels, Jaheim brings a wealth of experience, sharp game insight, and a relatable presence to the Solihull Sonics bench. His passion for the sport and commitment to developing young talent make him a powerful role model and a key part of the Sonics coaching crew.

Coach Arron brings over 20 years of playing and coaching experience to the Solihull Sonics, combining deep knowledge of the game with an infectious laugh, passion and positivity. His commitment to developing young athletes goes far beyond skills and drills—he creates an environment where every player feels supported, motivated, and empowered to excel. Arron’s energy on the court and belief in each child’s potential make him a driving force in the growth and confidence of our Sonics family.

Coach Elise brings a natural flair for coaching and a laser‑focused passion for basketball that shines through in every session. An absolute pro at teaching layups, she has been shaping young players since her school days, coaching multiple teams while studying for her A‑levels. Quiet by nature but powerful in presence, Elise knows the score—her calm confidence, technical precision, and unwavering dedication help every player grow in skill and belief. She’s a cornerstone of the Sonics coaching team, leading with expertise, heart, and a deep love for the game.

Matt serves as the club’s Treasurer and the steady hand that ensures every ‘i’ is dotted and every ‘t’ is crossed in our finances. His passion for basketball runs deep, but it’s matched by his commitment to creating a friendly, supportive environment where every child can thrive. Behind the scenes, Matt keeps the Sonics running smoothly and sustainably, making sure our young players have the resources, stability, and encouragement they need to enjoy the game and grow with confidence
