In July 2025, Solihull Sonics were honoured to host their first-ever 3X3 basketball tournament, invited by Orlan Jackman and the Birmingham Commonwealth Legacy Program. With over 70 young players from across Birmingham lighting up the court, the day was a celebration of talent, teamwork, and community spirit. Adding to the occasion, we were proud to welcome two very special guests—the Lord Mayor of Solihull and the Mayor of Birmingham—whose presence highlighted the importance of youth sport in shaping brighter futures. It was a standout day for the Sonics and a powerful reminder of what we can achieve together.!
